As part of Industrial Technology World Asia – ITWA 2026, PMS Co. Ltd took part in a site visit to explore and stay current on automation technology trends in Hanoi — the leading electronics manufacturing and supporting-industry hub in northern Vietnam. The event ran from August 5–7, 2026 at the Vietnam Exposition Center (VEC), bringing together more than 500 exhibitors across electronics, SMT, automation, machine vision, and robotics — squarely aligned with PMS Co. Ltd’s target customer base of electronics manufacturers and industrial producers in Vietnam.

The trip’s core objective was to gather in-depth intelligence on Automation Parts and Machine Tools — two equipment categories directly tied to the service and automation solutions PMS Co. Ltd delivers to its customers.

One of this year’s standout highlights was the SMT and pick-and-place equipment segment — core machinery for electronics manufacturing plants and a major target customer segment for PMS Co. Ltd. At the booths of Panasonic Factory Solutions, GKG Precision Machine, WKK Distribution, Hunan Charmhigh, and Shenzhen Jianghao Electronics, PMS Co. Ltd examined placement speed (CPH), compatibility with ultra-small components, low-error-repeatability vision alignment systems, and MES software integration capabilities — the key factors that determine the operating efficiency of a modern SMT line.

In addition, the PCB processing machine tools and laser cutting/engraving equipment segment drew particular interest, given its direct relevance to the Service and Automation solutions PMS Co. Ltd is currently rolling out. At the booths of Bosung Eng, Sungsan Hi Tech, Wuhan HGLaser Engineering, Guangdong Right-Tek Intelligent, and Dongguan Gangfeng Precision Industry, PMS Co. Ltd took note of additional Light Curtain safety sensors, PLC/motion-card control systems, and integrated laser technology built for continuous automated production lines.

Alongside this, the automation components and mechanical actuation segment from Dongguan Kokuyo Spring, Shanghai Flowx Valve, Shenzhen Taozi Automation, and Foursone Korea showcased practical solutions for pneumatics, solenoid valves, collaborative robots (cobots), and IoT-integrated central controllers — essential building blocks for material-handling stations and automated control cabinets.
