3.Structure of linear motor

Below are details about each component in the structure of a linear motor:

– The stator is the static part of the motor. The stator contains coils that create a magnetic field to interact with the rotor and create thrust.

– The rotor is the moving part in the motor. It is responsible for converting electrical force into linear conversion.

– The encoder is used to measure the speed and position of the rotating shaft. In addition, it also provides accurate information to the control system.

– The photoelectric sensor works to detect the limit positions of the slide plate.

– The mounting frame protects the operating part from dust and dirt during operation

4.Operating :

The linear motor operates based on the principle of interaction between the magnetic field and the electric current.

Unlike traditional rotary motors, the linear motor creates linear motion rather than circular motion.

Specifically, when current flows through the coils in the motor, they will generate a magnetic field.

This magnetic field interacts with other magnetic fields, which can be from permanent magnets or other coils, creating a push or pull force.

This force will act on a part of the motor, causing it to move in a straight line.

To control the movement of the motor, people change the intensity and direction of the current running through the coils.

When the current changes, the magnetic field also changes, creating alternating push and pull forces.

Thanks to that, the mobile element of the motor will move continuously in a certain direction.
